CrystalA spatter of blood slashed raw against the pale ground, lit by the monstrous moon, large enough to see individual craters. Crystals, growing in large formations on the rock side, twinkling with excitement, took on the colour of crimson, almost as in celebration. Two creatures, bodies shaped like malformed eggs, there eyes as pale as the moon, their skin like a pristine, white leather. They both shared the same, spindly, spider-like limbs and the same blood-drenched, toothy smile. Their prey was also shared. A lupine shape lay not feet away from the one egg-creature on the ground.
